If you qualify, you will earn the privilege to display the appropriate Green Certification Mark to your customers and business partners to show that you are an environmental leader and are certified by an independent third-party audit of your green business practices.
You will have to renew your certification each year.
This is a voluntary certification program that is designed to recognize and promote businesses that go beyond minimum environmental standards.
We require you to go beyond achieving basic regulatory compliance and implement additional measures to become green.

We will conduct a survey of your business based on your input on an application and other information gathered by our research and screening team.
We will look for evidence to support the information you provide and will evaluate your greenness in the areas of Energy, Water, Waste, Pollution Prevention, and other criteria that is specific to your line of business.
Our evaluation will be based on a number of factors, including the principles of the three “R”s, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
We will ask you to add a fourth “R”, Rethink!
We encourage our members to constantly rethink their practices and continue reducing their carbon footprints.
If approved, you will be permitted to use the appropriate Green Certification Mark for your line of business for a period of one year from the date you join.
After that, you will be required to renew your certification on an annual basis to retain the privilege of using the Green Certification Mark.
Any failure to renew or becoming delisted from the directory for any reason will immediately revoke any and all privileges to use the Green Certification Mark or claim to be certified.
You may not use the Green Certification Mark in any way unless and until you are certified by us.
Our products, services, certification marks, service marks, trademarks, and web content, including images and text are owned by Green Wedding Providers SM.
We do not permit or consent to any mark, other symbol, or device that could be confused with or dilute our marks.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, display, license, or sell any products, services, or web content or components contained in them.
You may not use any of our marks in any way unless you are a member in good standing that is certified and licensed to do so.
