The Green Wedding Provider Directory
To be listed in our directory, a business must submit an application, be reviewed by our screening team, and become certified.
In order to keep our directory up to date, our research and screening team may pre-qualify certain green businesses before they are certified.
Look for the Certified Green Wedding Provider SM certification logo to ensure that a particular business is actually certified.
We may update our directory with listings of businesses that have proven to be green by other means, such as being certified by other reputable green organizations with similar strict standards for inclusion.
We may also remove listings that no longer qualify for our directory.
To qualify for listing in our directory, a business must be screened and approved.
The business must demonstrate a high level of environmental and social responsibility that goes beyond basic compliance with environmental regulations and recycling practices.
We review various aspects of a business' ability to reduce energy consumption, water consumption, and waste production, conserve natural resources, prevent pollution, provide for a safe and healthy workplace, participate in the community, choose products and services for use in the business and operate in an eco-conscious sustainable manner.
